I really enjoyed this as a movie as a child, and as a book as well. Jules Verne remains one of my fondest reads in this life and his many adventures on heaven and earth.
I was so inspired by him that I've used his Journey to the Center of the Earth as a focus for a series of stories I've written.
I've also written a new story series based on "War of the Worlds," by H.G. Wells in which Wells and Verne are actual heroes of the story and the story is really happening to them, and not on paper.
The most fun part about being a writer with my kind of imagination is that I am able to be any character I desire, good or bad, and it's a safe way to live life, isn't it? I'd certainly not like to be in my real life the villains that I come up with or others have come up with.
So here's the next chapter of this generous audio play of Verne's famous novel, which became a comic book, and a movie as well.
