I practice Deep Silence every day and find it to be the most positive thing in my life besides my cockatiel, Baby Baby, who loves to dance on my finger or shoulder.
I utilize Deep Silence to rest my body, release stress, clear my mind and soul every day. It only takes about fifteen to twenty minutes of practice each day to get the results.
Results are immediate and accumulative.
As I experience Deep Silence, my mind becomes more coherent, my body healthier, my emotions more stable, and my conscience clearer. I find myself having a more positive, happier and healthier life.
Using Deep Silence, I create a robust and positive platform to act from, which allows me to live my life and work with greater harmony, peace of mind, and love towards all I am with and experience.
The expansion of Deep Silence into your life doesn't mean you will suddenly be kissing tigers and that you should tolerate negative people and actions, only that with Deep Silence, you will learn how to respond to all situations in the most positive way possible.
Over time and in time, all is possible, and with your grounding in Deep Silence, even time takes on a new meaning and shifts from urgency, which most act upon in their daily lives and not always to good results, to experiencing and practicing greater tolerance and patience.
I believe our world is a school. Everyone that lives upon Earth's surface exists as a mirror for other persons to look at and learn to be better.
Our life is a book to be read by others and written within by ourselves. The pages of our story are continuously changing as a result of the free will choices we make.
Therefore, I feel that the better choices we can make for ourselves do not come from actions guided by just emotions or intellect. Instead, decisions become more positive and life-affirming when created with the best possible guidance. That which exists quietly within us all but is more than willing to help guide our actions, Deep Silence.
I believe and experience that Deep Silence guides me and all life from within if we are willing to listen to it.
And I'm not talking aliens or possessions; I'm talking the One Light that created everything! And within Whom we have our existence.
I don't believe in some magical being that sits on a throne in mythical heaven and punishes us if we are wrong or naughty.
My God is the Deep Silence, the One Light, the Creator of all that is, was, and ever will be.
That God is a teacher, a mother, a father, a friend, and a guide.
If we learn how to get along as a species, our world will become a paradise because we would never be able to bear one person going without food, medicine, a place to live, and a comfortable life with meaning. We wouldn't want that for ourselves. Why would we want it for others?
Hunger, disease, and poverty would vanish because we wouldn't allow those words to exist in thought or deed. We would see all beings, human and otherwise, as our brothers in life.
Am I political?
No. I'm a humanist. I believe that we are all the children of God, and as such, we should act from the highest principles. It doesn't matter what religion we believe. All teach the same thing if you study them. And that is that we are all part of something greater than ourselves. And this is why I choose to operate from the level of Deep Silence. When doing so, we become less impulsive, erratic, and overly emotional in our decisions. We become calmer, saner, and more stable in life and our lives.
Deep Silence connects you to all life in the best possible way.
It guides you, if you are willing to listen, in the best possible directions and in making the best possible decisions.
I also believe in what Shakespeare said, "That the world is but a stage and we players upon it!"
Shakespeare didn't mean literally a stage. He suggested our life in this world is part of a larger story. A play, if you will, where we are allowed to learn how to get along with each other without creating further harm and pain. He meant, and I mean, we are here to perform actions together. Actions that will generate harmony or those which will not.
I choose to perform harmonious actions.
I also choose to look in the mirror and be honest with what I see. Because in the end, when we cross over from this world to the next, the only thing we can take with us is the good and the wrong thoughts and actions we have taken to write in our book of life.
